Ever since the first pictures came out, fans have been clamoring to see the item number in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine. Interestingly it is the star of the film, Kareena Kapoor, who is doing the item number instead of a special guest star.
Bebo is seen flaunting her curves, doing the latka jhatkas and looking absolutely stunning in her ghagra choli look. Why? Because this item number is the item number her character Mahi does in the film. Confused? The film is a daring, shocking, glamorous, scandalous behind the scenes account of the reality behind the world of glitz and glamour that our film stars inhabit. It is based on the life and times of a superstar heroine named Mahi from the dream factory we call ‘Bollywood’. So, of course Mahi would do an item bomb in one of her films and in this case at an awards show and ‘Halkat Jawaani’ is that number.
The raunchy number was released last evening on social networking site Twitter by UTV, the banner of the film.
Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, the song has been composed by brothers Salim-Sulaiman.
